Welcome to KMR Self Protection.

KMR SP has been created following ongoing Self Protection training with the likes of such life changing instructors as Geoff Thompson and AL Peasland. I decided it was time to try and develop the knowledge I had learnt through my JKD and Self Protection training into a coherent structure.

I wanted KMR SP to reflect what I believe. The true understanding of self protection is not just the need to defend yourself or your loved ones - it is about understanding the whole picture - What self protection means to you, how to ensure that if you should end up in the wrong place at the wrong time you know how to cope then and after the event.

I am not into creating carbon copies of myself, each person has their own specific reason and need to learn and train Self Protection, my hope this that through instruction you will feel happier, more confident in your every day lives and this positive outlook will also impact on your surroundings and those people you share it with.

My hope is that KMR SP will open you to the world of Self protection and the martial art of JKD. The purpose of this site is to encourage the learning and enjoyment of these two martial arts to help you feel more comfortable in the world we live in.
